This event kicks off our Bar-B-Que Cook-Off weekend, where attendees can enjoy complimentary paved parking, a wide variety of breakfast tacos, and free coffee. Additionally, a range of free beverages will be available. For those aged 21 and above, there is alcoholic beverages for purchase, including beer and the Rodeo’s own Surtierra Tequila! The event also features rodeo merchandise, music, and promises to be a fun-filled experience for the entire family.

St. Philips College, in collaboration with students and professors from the University Hospitality and Culinary Department, assisted with the cooking at the event. 2025’s event benefited the St. Philips College and also marked the commencement of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que Cook-Off, which takes place during the same weekend.
